This Privacy Notice (“Notice”) applies to Employees (past, present and potential), and does not apply to non-employees, of Capital Rail Constructors, its subsidiaries, and its affiliates (hereinafter “CRC” or “We” or “Our”). We respect your privacy. This Notice describes the types of information we may collect from you in your capacity as an employee or job applicant, including but not limited to information that you may provide when you visit the website http://www.capitalrailconstructors.com/ or any of CRC’s other websites, our affiliate websites, (our “Website”), or elsewhere, and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

It does not apply to information collected by any third party (such as third party websites, services, and links through our website) which may have their own security and privacy disclosures.

Children Under the Age of 16

  • Commercial information such as records of personal property, products or services purchased, obtained, or considered or other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies.
  • Biometric information such as genetic, physiological, behavioral, and biological characteristics, or activity patterns used to extract a template or other identifier or identifying information, such as, fingerprints, faceprints, and voiceprints, iris or retina scans, keystroke, gait, or other physical patterns, and sleep, health (such as  health check-ins), or exercise data.
  • Internet or other similar network activity such as browsing or search history.
  • Geolocation data such as physical location or movements.
  • Sensory data such as audio, electronic, visual, thermal, olfactory, or similar information.
  • Professional or employment-related information (such as current or past job history or performance evaluations).
  • Non-public education information (per the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (20 U.S.C. Section 1232g, 34 C.F.R. Part 99)) such as education records directly related to a student maintained by an educational institution or party acting on its behalf, such as grades, transcripts, class lists, student schedules, student identification codes, student financial information, or student disciplinary records.
  • Inferences drawn from personal information such as a profile reflecting a person’s preferences, characteristics, psychological trends, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities, and aptitudes.

We obtain the categories of personal information listed above from the following categories of sources:

  • Directly from you. For example, this may include forms you complete online or otherwise, or your communications with human resources.
  • Indirectly from you. For example, in the course of conducting our business, we may monitor employee activities and our premises and property.
  • Automatically through the use of our networks, devices (such as mobile devices) and websites. Information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses, and information collected through cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies.
  • Information collected from third party vendors, including background check vendors, drug testing companies, and recruiting agencies.
